Who Among MUSLIM is to be hanged next?

NEW DELHI: India’s president on Wednesday rejected a last-ditch plea to stay the execution of

Yakub Memon for his role in the country’s worst ever attack, Press Trust of India reported.
President Pranab Mukherjee rejected his petition for clemency after the Supreme Court in New Delhi ruled that he should die for his role in attacks that killed hundreds of people in Mumbai in 1993.
Shortly after lawyers for Memon, the only one of 11 people convicted to have his death sentence upheld on appeal, and activists met with India’s chief justice to ask for a 14-day delay, local media reported.
Memon is set to be hanged at the Nagpur jail in western Maharashtra on Thursday morning, according to media reports.
Authorities in Nagpur have barred people from assembling outside the jail and beefed up security in sensitive areas in Mumbai.
The Bombay Stock Exchange, the offices of Air India and a luxury hotel were among about a dozen targets of the March 1993 blasts, which killed 257 people in the deadliest attacks ever to hit India.
The case has aroused controversy because police considered Memon’s brother, “Tiger” Memon, and mafia don Dawood Ibrahim to be the masterminds behind attacks designed to avenge the destruction of an ancient mosque by Hindu zealots in 1992. Both men remain in hiding.
While the public backs Memon’s execution, several lawmakers and retired judges have come out in his support, saying the sentence is too harsh in light of the help he gave investigators in cracking India’s deadliest bomb attack case.
Calls for reprieve grew after a website last week released a 2007 article by intelligence official B. Raman, who coordinated Memon’s arrest in 1994, and said the prosecution appeared to have failed to highlight mitigating circumstances in its eagerness to secure a death penalty. Raman has since died

The Fact

Watch as Pastor Washes The Sins of His Congregation With Water, Detergent, and Bleach
Watch as Pastor Washes The Sins of His Congregation With Water, Detergent, and Bleach

The Bible made us to know that towards the end of time, strange things will definitely happen. Few months ago, a Pastor forced his congregation to eat grass.
Later, the same Pastor forced the same congregation to drink fuel. Another one nearly caused a pregnant woman to miscarry her baby by constanstly stepping on her while she was 8 months pregnant. Another uses invisible power to knock down church members. Those in support said they were working under the anointing of the Holy Spirit. Since we cannot question the things of the Spirit, we left that alone.
Watch the video below and tell us where the Bible commanded Pastors to wash the sins of the people with water and detergent.

'Oldest' Koran fragments found in Birmingham University

The recent carbon dating of an ancient Quranic manuscript at the University of Birmingham has now added even more proof regarding the unparalleled degree of certainty with which the Quran has been preserved. These folios have been Carbon 14 dated to within the same time frame, or perhaps shortly after, our Prophet (salla Allahu alayhi wa sallam). In other words, if this parchment wasn't written for/by a Companion, then it was written by/for a student of one of the Companions.
In this image, prepared by Prof Godlas, you can see the original manuscript, written in the ancient Hijazi manuscript, and compare it with its modern, typed equivalent.
This collection, called the 'Mingana collection' (after the researcher Alphonse Mingana, d. 1937) was purchased by Mingana in either Iraq or Syria, almost a hundred years ago. Edward Cadbury, the founder of the famous chocolate company, sponsored Mingana's trips to the Middle East. His collection, which includes hundreds of manuscripts, is primarily housed at the University of Birmingham, in the UK.
Many Muslims ask me, 'How come so many Islamic documents and manuscripts ended up in non-Muslim lands and libraries?' The response, in a nutshell is: colonialism, and the power of money. Some manuscripts were simply 'acquired'; but most were sold by private owners, or on the black market, to travelers from Europe who could pay what would have been considered astronomical prices for the time.
And frankly, that is a good thing. The Muslim world simply did not have (nor does it have!) the latest technology or the scientific means to take care of these manuscripts the way that the Western world is now doing. It is my belief that Divine Will is allowing these manuscripts to be preserved in the best manner possible, even if that is occurring at the hands of those who do not believe in them in the first place.

Qur’an Describes Itself

Qur’an Describes Itself

Let us start by reflecting upon what Qur’an has to say about itself.
The Qur'an introduces itself as the guidance for the worlds (3:96); and the manifest light (4:174).
According to Qur’an, Allah has laid down solution of every human problem in the Qur’an very clearly. Qur’an says: “and We have revealed the Book to you explaining clearly everything (16:89).
Also He has described the Qur'an in these words: “ ....... a guidance for mankind and clear evidence of guidance and discrimination (between wrong)”. (2:185).
The Qur'an is, accordingly, a guidance, an evidence, a discrimination between right and wrong and a manifest light for the people to guide them aright and help them in all their needs. Is it imaginable that it would not guide them aright in its own matter, while it is their most important need?
Again Allah says: “And (as for) those who strive hard for Us, We will most certainly guide them onto Our ways”. (29:69). Which striving is greater than the endeavor to understand His Book? And which way is more straight than the Qur'an?
“Lo! this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright”. (17:9)
The Holy Qur’an is a book which by sound reasoning bestows insight upon man. It shows the right path to man by giving the accounts of the Prophets and the nations. It motivates him through parables, exhortations and admonitions.
“Such are some of the stories of the unseen, which We have revealed unto you, before this neither you nor your people knew them. So persevere patiently, for the end is for those who are righteous”. (11:49).
The Qur'an describes its other function as the presentation of the Prophetic mission, which is aimed at guidance of humanity, by delivering it from darkness and leading it towards light:
“A Book We have sent down to you so that you may bring forth mankind from the darkness into the light......”. (14:1)
What is the meaning of darkness mentioned in the above ayah? Without doubt the darkness of ignorance is one of the vices from which the Qur'an emancipates humanity and leads it towards the light of knowledge and wisdom. However, if merely ignorance were regarded as darkness, then the philosophers could have accomplished this job.
But there exist other evils more dangerous than the vice of ignorance, and to subdue them is beyond the power of sheer knowledge. Among them are the vices of worship of material benefits, egoism, enslavement to desires, and greed, which are considered to be personal and moral vices. Social vices like oppression and discrimination manifest the spiritual darkness of a society.
In Arabic, the word zulm (injustice and oppression) is derived from the same root as zulmah (darkness), which shows that injustice is a form of social and spiritual darkness. To struggle against such forms of darkness is the responsibility and mission of the Qur'an and other heavenly books. Addressing Prophet Musa (as), the Qur'an says:
“That you may bring forth your people from the darkness into the light ...” (14:5)
This darkness, this shadow, is the darkness of Fir’aun’s oppression and injustice and that of his clique. The light is the light of justice and freedom.
The exegetists of the Qur'an emphasize the point that whenever the Qur'an mentions darkness, it always uses it in the plural form although it always uses light in its singular form. This means that the word ‘darkness’ includes all sorts of darkness, all of the evil ways that lead towards darkness, and that ‘light’ signifies one single right path --the path of righteousness, whereas the ways of deviation and perversion are many. In Suurat al-Baqarah, the Qur'an says:
“God is the Protector of the believers; He brings them forth from the darkness into the light. And the unbelievers --their protectors are taghut, that bring them forth from the light into the darkness ...” (2:257)
Thus the Qur'an determines its goal to be the breaking of the chains of ignorance, misguidance, moral and social corruption and destruction, or in other words, to dissipate all sorts of ‘darkness’ and to guide humanity in the direction of ‘justice, goodness and light’.
“This is a declaration for humankind, a guidance and admonition to those who ward off (evil)”. (3:138)
In other places, the Qur’an describes itself as under:
“This is the book, in it is guidance for sure without doubt, to those who fear Allah”. (2:2)
“They are invited to the book of Allah to settle their dispute”. (3:23)
“We have sent down to you (O Muhammad) in truth so that you might judge between men as guided by Allah”. (4:105).
“And this is a book which We have revealed as a blessing, so follow it and be righteous, that you may receive mercy”. (6:155).
“A book revealed unto you, so that your heart be not in any difficulty on that account, (so that) with it you may warn (the sinful) and teach the believers”. (7:2).
“This Qur’an is not such as can be produced by other than Allah, on the contrary it is a confirmation of (revelations) that were sent before it, and a full explanation of the book, wherein there is not doubt from the Lord of the worlds”. (10:37)
“And We sent down the book to you for the express purpose that you should make clear to them those things in which they differ, and so that it should be a guide and mercy to those who believe”. (16:64).
“We have revealed for you (O men) a book in which there is a message for you, will you then not understand”. (21:10).
“These are the verses of the book that make things clear”. (26:2).
“... A book which We have sent down unto you with full of blessings so that they may meditate on its signs and that man of understanding may receive admonition”. (38:29).
“Verily We have revealed the book to you in truth for instructing mankind. He that receives guidance benefits his own soul, but he that strays injures his own soul”. (39:41).

Condom shortage: Jitters in Nashik ahead of Kumbh

Condom shortage: Jitters in Nashik ahead of Kumbh
Raamkund in Nashik is getting all set for Kumbh.
NASHIK: The Maharashtra State Aids Control Society (MSAC) has expressed fear in the run-up to the Kumbh Mela of unprotected sex and the possible spread of HIV and AIDS because of shortage of condoms.

Yogesh Pardeshi, the district programme officer, MSAC, told TOI that some hospitals have run out of stock and condoms were being brought in from rural hospitals and primary health centres. "A meeting was held on Friday and a request for more condoms has been made to the head office," he added.

Another official from MSAC said the district now has a stock of about 50,000 condoms for the female sex workers and the men-having-sex-with-men (MSM). "The stock will get over before Kumbh," he said.

MSAC officials said the National Aids Control Organisation (NACO) has stopped the supply of condoms, leaving the AIDS control society with a stock that can last only for a week. Kumbh Mela is beginning on July 14 and nearly a crore people, including lakhs of sadhus, are expected to visit Nashik to participate in the mega religious congregation.

The city has an estimated 2,000 female sex workers, 560 MSMs and 70 transgenders, while there are one lakh migrants in the district that has a monthly requirement of 1.5-2 lakh condoms. Given the current situation, the officials fear that the current stock of condoms might not be enough to cater to the huge number of people visiting the city.

READ ALSO: Railways may run short-distance trains during Nashik Kumbh MelaThe average annual requirement of condoms estimated for 2015 is 24 lakh, including those received through social marketing. Stating that an equal number of condoms was expected to cater to Nashik's requirement during Kumbh Mela, the officials attributed the crisis to the Centre's order of curtailing funds for NACO. "This, in turn, compelled NACO to curtail its funds for the MSAC and other NGOs," an official said.

Kuldeep Pawar, the project manager of the Female Sex Workers Targeted Intervention at Pravara Medical Institute, told TOI that the requirement of condoms and medicines to treat sexually transmitted infections would double during the Kumbh Mela. He said, "As there is virtually no stock left for free distribution from the government, the customers may refrain from buying condoms. This might increase chances of infection. It is also not possible for all sex workers to buy contraceptives for safe sex because of their meager income."

(Thousands of Sadhus are expected to be in Nashik during the Kumb mela)
Pawar said the proportion of infection among the general population was more compared to the female sex workers. "But with no protection to provide, the chances are that the sex workers may get affected as well. The problem is that the government has stopped the support three months before the Kumbh. As of on July 3, we have a stock of about 22,000 condoms and this will hardly last for a week. The monthly requirement is 1.5-1.8 lakh condoms. Considering the requirement, the government should provide additional contraceptives," he said.

The project managers said if the condoms did not reach the sex workers, the efforts taken during the past decade to reduce infections and spread of HIV would go in vain.

"O people of the book

"O people of the book ! Do not commit excesses in your religion, nor say of Allah anything but the truth. The Messiah, Eesa the son of Maryam, is no more than a messenger of Allah , and His word which He bestowed upon Maryam , and a Spirit proceeding from Him. So believe in Allah and His Messengers . Say not three--desist! It will be better for you , for Allah is One God , glory be to Him. [Far exalted is He] above having a son. To Him belong all things in the heavens and on earth and enough is Allah as a Disposer of Affairs."
